High Voltage Breakers is a key business unit within Hitachi Energy, based in Ludvika, Sweden. Our unit has global responsibility for developing, producing, and selling High Voltage Breakers for power systems. As the world shifts towards green energy, High Voltage Breakers play a crucial role in accelerating the transition.
We are now looking for an analytical and meticulous person with a strong drive for the role as Trade Compliance Representative. In this role you will handle matters such as implementing policies, processes and systems to improve our trade compliance in line with global regulations.
You will work closely with the Country Trade Compliance Officers as well as different stakeholders on trade related matters, globally and locally both internally and externally, so you are a person who knows how to build good relations on different levels.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure that all business transactions (selling and sourcing, direct or indirect business, binding offers, imports, exports, transit trade, of goods, services, software, documents, samples, marketing materials and technology) are carried out in accordance with Corporate Regulation, Standard Operating Procedures, processes and guidelines.Long-term Supplier declarations - Collaborate together with our external suppliers to ensure that long-term supplier declarations are available for required article numbers. Collect, compile, follow up and update.Export calculations - Perform calculations to ensure compliance with preferential origin.Harmonization System Codes (Tariff code) - Responsible for the classification of all items, products and parts with support from technical experts and Trade Compliance Officers. Maintain and update these codes in our business system.Country of origin - Ensure that all purchased items in our business systems have the correct country of origin.Forwarders - Main point of contact and responsible for forwarders (incoming/import).
Your Background
Diploma and background within the field of logistic, forwarding, purchasing or sales.Previous knowledge of the Swedish free trade agreement is preferred.Proficiency in Swedish is essential, along with strong English skills.Efficient in Excel, Power BI and similar applications.
