The Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for the ongoingdevelopment, administration, and operation of the designated day-to-dayfunctions of the trade compliance operations. Will support a variety oftrade compliance programs and initiatives within the import and exportarena. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with complianceprograms such as internal audits, Customs broker audits, quarterlybusiness reviews; Assist in the proper maintenance of trade compliancedata in databases (SAP, Thomson Reuters, etc) Perform reviews of importand export transactions to ensure compliance with import and exportregulations. Assist with development and preparation of trade metricsand KPIs including data collection Manage multiple projects as assignedfor a variety of trade compliance initiatives, including, but notlimited to: trade compliance software implementations, CorporateGovernance of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders, Free TradeAgreements, Embargoes and Sanctions, Denied Party Screening, etcCorporate management of Free Trade Agreement participation and Countryof Origin determinations. Assist with implementing, updating,maintaining, and monitoring trade compliance policies, procedures, andguidelines Develop/maintain process work instructions and SOPs, processflows, and workflow products (automated forms) for import and exportrequirements; Interface with freight forwarder, customs brokers,shipping and receiving locations, to resolve or answer problemsconcerning import or export shipments; Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience; 2 years\' experience intrade analytical role within International Business/Trade, Supply Chain,Customs Brokerage Preferred Qualifications: Import/exportcertifications; Import and Export operation knowledge Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve high complexityprocess/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statisticalmodels; Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and inwriting, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
