High performance, efficiency, creative and innovative thinking, and demonstrated reliability as well as accountability in all aspects of performance will be key in the success factors for this role DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The PATIENT EXPERIENCE OFFICE supports initiatives focused on patient experience improvement, integration of new policies, and standardization of care delivery practices.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a full-time resource to manage all work efforts, coordinate department activities, and drive the creation of documentation and deliverables for the UW Medicine Patient Experience team
Understand current and future needs of the patient experience program and the Senior Director, entity patient experience teams, and other relevant stakeholders; customizes services to better address each audience's needs and commitments
Serves as a liaison across teams and works with departments across UW Medicine to ensure successful implementation of initiatives related to patient experience and recognition
Track and respond to online reviews, ensuring that patient reviews are responded to in a timely and consistent manner
Create presentation materials and reports to be used by the Senior Director and the UW Medicine patient experience- staff in various committee and sub-committee meetings
Coordinate reporting for patient and employee survey data
Screens, directs, and prioritizes communications; maintains confidentiality and professionalism at times, responding on behalf of the Senior Director and their direct reports REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Communications, or related field of study AND at least 2 years of demonstrated success/results working in healthcare administration/consulting for a large academic medical center
Demonstrated ability to support leaders, employees, and teams to work toward deploying a different future state
Regardless of the venue (in-person, phone, or email/text), have the ability to behave as a consummate diplomat - demonstrating professional and patient demeanor in challenging situations
