　　Information Management Group has an opening for Tier II Technician to supportour customer's mission-vital networksDescription of Job Duties/Responsibilities:The Tier 2 network field technician will support the installation andmaintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices.Respond to and resolve incident ticketsDraft and implement standard network change requestsProvide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management andprojects (site surveys, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), andcoordinate and install new equipment)Perform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings,ensure asset management records are accurate, and conduct inventoryCoordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (Virtual Local Area Networks(VLANs), Port Security, and Thin Configurations)Salary range: $80,000-$100,000

　　Qualifications

　　Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Candidate must have 10years of related/relevant work experience that can be a combination of workhistory and education. This equates to a Master's and 4 years, Bachelorsand 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years of experience. Mustcomply with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2.Additional required qualifications include:Working knowledge of basic routing fundamentalsWorking knowledge of layer 2 switching conceptsKnowledge of CISCO/Juniper Return Material Authorization (RMA) processesLayer 1 and Layer 2 network experience (CAT5, Single Mode(SM)/Multimode (MM) Fiber, Serial cables, Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP)Knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) modelsKnowledge of Cisco Internetworking Operating System (IOS), JuniperJUNOS, and the Brocade and Foundry Operating System (OS)Familiarity (doesn't need to be a SME) with Layer 3 protocols such asOpen Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP),Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), Hot Standby Router Protocol(HSRP), Multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), Language ServerProtocol (LSP), and Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE)Familiarity with Microsoft Visio, ServiceNow, and Atlassian ConfluenceWorking knowledge of Service Now or similar IT Service Management (ITSM)productsRequired Clearance: Active TS/SCI, with CI Poly.
