The Thrift Store Back Room Worker picks up donations asscheduled for The Salvation Army. Unloads the donations at store, sortsand prices donations, runs the baler, and assists in maintainingorganization and inventory of donations and supplies. About the role:Provides superior customer service in all duties, including greetingdonors, assisting with loading / unloading of donations, issuingreceipts, submitting receipt copies and all cash donations to the storemanager. Operates pallet jack and baler when needed. Assists withorganization of donations on the floor and in storage. Trains and leadsvolunteers as directed by store manager. Assists with outdoor and indoor(backroom) maintenance as needed. This may include sweeping, mopping,removing trash and sorting and tagging clothing/brick. Education: N/AExperience: One year job-related experience required. Must be at least18 years old to drive and operate baler.
