  Job Description Summary

  The Sachs Program's Administrative Assistant will provide key administrative support for the office: processing PO and non-PO payments; processing internal grant transfers; tracking and recording program spending; supporting the Associate Director on the facilitation of grant agreements, communicating with ORS on external grants, such as the WPF Grant; booking grantee meetings, which are extensive; managing schedules for the Executive and Associate Directors. They will also manage key aspects of planning and implementation of programming and fundraising; they will manage correspondence and schedule meetings; maintain the office, including ordering supplies, working with Hire IT and other administrative services; maintain the program’s digital files; take minutes and notes for the Executive Director and Associate Director; utilize project planning software for the management of schedules and task assignments. They may also be asked to assist with communications and marketing, and other areas as needed, including conducting research for the Executive and Associate Directors.

  Qualifications

  High School Grad/GE Degree, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  2+ years’ experience managing a high volume of expense processing or other financial transaction management strongly preferred.

  Previous experience with grant processing/administration, scheduling, or office administration also preferred.

  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
