Job Description Summary: The Test Technician is responsible forthe inspection, configuration, troubleshooting, and testing of productsto make sure they meet customer needs in accordance with regulatoryrequirements. This will be a second shift opportunity Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities: Test, troubleshoot and repair of product inaccordance with quality system requirements and manufacturinginstructions. Perform manufacturing tests and commissioning of themedical systems, including but not limited to all instructions andprocedures required to complete a fully commissioned system which haspassed all testing and is ready for shipment. Test and configurecomputer systems in accordance with quality system requirements andmanufacturing instructions. Perform or assist in component test andsubassembly testing. Participate in development and review ofmanufacturing procedures to help ensure manufacturing requirements andgoals are achieved. Assist in development of manufacturing instructions,that document and control the manufacturing process. Assist thedevelopment of manufacturing tool and fixture requirements and promoteongoing control. Assist the training of manufacturing personnel, asrequired. Assist in deployment of product changes (ECOs) to ensurecorrect implementation. Assist the development of facility requirementsto accommodate production, including workflow, shelving, other storage,and workstations. Provide feedback to manufacturing or engineeringpersonnel concerning needs and product enhancements that would improveboth quality and ease of production/servicing of the product. Interfaceand support regulatory affairs as required to help ensure productionprocesses and facilities are in accordance with FDA, OSHA and otherapplicable regulations.
