　　Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is looking to fill our Test Technician role. In this position you will perform lot release testing on a variety of materials. You will also be involved in post-test inspection of test specimens. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want a chance to work in a fast-paced environment and learn some new skills, all within the Latrobe/Youngstown area. 　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process controlPerforms a variety of quality, customized tests which will analyze materials to determine strength, stability, purity, chemical content, and other characteristics, in order to identify any performance/reliability issues with the materialOrganizes and maintain the test labSafely operates tools such as a band saw, grinder, sander, polisher and mounting machineryPerforms microscopic reviews of material being testedMaintains detailed records of test resultsPerforms other duties and tasks as assigned
