  Are you prospecting for a great career win? We at Fluke have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated and forward-thinking field seller for the Tennessee & Southwest Kentucky territory! The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new bookings by helping create end user demand, strategically planning territory saturation with our partner base and implementing strategies for rapid market share expansion. The successful candidate will be a strategic, critical thinker, persuasive and well organized with high a degree of business insight and able to demonstrate the ability to build new demand, relationships, and strategies to win.

  Candidates should have 5+ years sales experience in the industrial sector selling technical solutions – preferably with a focus in electrical applications. Using your technical knowledge is key to support our distribution partners, and end-users.

  Territory to include Tennessee (Nashville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Knoxville) & Southwest Kentucky (Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Paducah, Owensboro)

  Primary Responsibilities

  Actively promote Fluke to achieve sales quota by building rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls

  Become a local authority in Fluke products and solutions.

  Understand industrial applications and processes.

  Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, provide product demonstrations and training, and address end-user customer needs.

  Provide daily updates to Fluke’s CRM system and actively handle pipeline including consistent follow-up of prospects.

  Ability to combine a high degree of technical knowledge with strong and persuasive communication skills.

  Collaborate with local distribution partners to drive growth at the end user level.

  Able to work remotely out of a home office with the capacity to travel to end user sites within territory (approx. 30% overnight travel, depending on location).

  Relationship Building:

  Establish relationships with local distributors and end users to provide solutions to their problems using an array of Fluke equipment, software & services.

  Provide support for a variety of distributor and customer events including trade shows, seminars, onsite training, etc.

  Leverage the use of internal Fluke support teams to optimally grow your territory

  Qualifications:

  A BS or equivalent four-year degree, specifically within an engineering or technical field.

  5+ years of related hands-on experience in sales operations, communications, customer success, or related field

  Ability to operate independently to achieve goals working in a fast-paced multidimensional environment requiring time management, creativity and independent judgment.

  Skilled use in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and a CRM platform.

  Must live within assigned territory.
