About the role
In order to help Cochlear continue to grow and service our customers, weare recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager based in Missouri. Theideal candidate will live in the Kansas City or Springfield area.Candidates should be located west of St. Louis.
As the Territory Sales Manager, you will be successful in this role whenutilize your sales experience in medical device or specialty pharm, oryour clinical/surgical experience as a clinical Audiologist, to buildand expand on the Acoustics implant product line to benefit individualswith hearing loss. In this role you will be responsible to supportsurgical and clinical cases and demonstrate your business sales andtraining acumen. Your ability to create, manage and maintain strongrelationships with professional providers, to include surgeons,audiologists, hospitals and clinics, is critical to the success of therole. Your strong learning agility enables your development of knowledgeacross Cochlear\'s product portfolio. You will work collaboratively withcolleagues in your market, as well as cross-functionally with othercorporate teams, to create business plans designed to grow new andexisting accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Acumen - prospecting for opportunities with new and existingcustomers with focus on the Acoustics product portfolio. You willdemonstrate successful relationship building with surgical partnersand demonstrate credibility with key accounts.Business Acumen - demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales reports,forecast templates, and SGA reports for planning purposes. You willutilize all aspects of business acumen tools (Miller Heiman,Salesforce, contracting, etc.).Clinical Support - demonstrating potential to provide clinicalexpertise to Cochlear professional customers by applying knowledgegained through clinical and product training, such as candidacycriteria, test batteries, fitting software proficiency with CustomSound (CI) and Smart Sound (Baha).Surgical Support - maintaining an in-depth product knowledge of bothCI and Baha internal product offerings in order to effectively selland position Cochlear product features and brand benefits.Demonstrated ability to sell in a surgical environment.Key Requirements

Pay Range in the United States: \$85,000 - \$95,000 base salary pluscommission.
