We need your expertise:
As the Territory Sales Manager for Florida's East Coast, your key responsibilities include driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction within your territory. You will be instrumental in supervising and enhancing the outside sales operations in this region, playing a significant role in the company’s ongoing success and expansion.
Main focus of responsibilities:
Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and continuous development for our sales representatives, outside of scheduled training classes, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Participate in our comprehensive training program and continued education classes to gain an in-depth understanding of our sales process and industry expertise.
Regularly coordinate and conduct ride-alongs with existing sales representatives, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring quality reviews are completed based on findings.
Spearhead T.O. calls; address the customers' concerns, objections, or questions with the goal of not just salvaging the sale, but ensuring a positive customer experience for retention as well.
Initiate ‘Welcome Calls’ to customers after they’ve signed, maintaining rapport, and providing an update on what happens next in the process to set the tone for exceptional service.
Assessing and resolving all sales on hold, ensuring resolution for all deals, and deterring potential profit loss.
Review the sales board daily, proactively connecting with any cancellations for the opportunity to save the deal and contribute to the territory's success.
Resolve complex issues that may require customized responses and communicating solutions effectively.
Routinely run reports to align trends, customer needs, and opportunities with territory business strategy.
Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts as required, providing insights into key performance indicators.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team. Previous experience in a leadership role within the home improvement or related industry is highly desirable.
Proven track record of success with direct sales, showcasing your ability to achieve and exceed targets.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Ability to build strong relationships to foster a positive and productive work environment for your team.
Proficiency in handling conflicts and resolving issues effectively within the sales team or with customers diplomatically and constructively; negotiating favorable outcomes where necessary.
Strong emotional intelligence to understand and navigate various interpersonal dynamics, both within the sales team and in customer interactions.
Solid time management skills are crucial in overseeing the territory.
Highest level of customer service skills.
Must be able to provide referrals upon request if not available via resume.
High school diploma or equivalent.
