We seek candidates in Mathematical Biology with research interests in complementary areas such as, but not limited to, Numerical Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data.Essential FunctionsMaintaining an active research program in mathematical biology.Mentoring graduate students.Teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses, including but not limited to graduate-level applied mathematics courses.Filling service roles for the university and mathematical community, such as participation in department and college committees, and engagement with professional organizations.The standard teaching load for research-active faculty is six credit hours (approximately two courses) per semester.
