Posting Summary	Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking Temporary Research Assistants for the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences within the Rutgers School of Health Professions.Among the key duties of this position are the following: Conducts Neurorehabilitation and Neurophysiology Research. Works on ongoing research that uses electrophysiology and neuroimaging measures to better understand motor related impairment following neurological, neuromuscular, and musculoskeletal diseases and injuries for diverse patient populations including traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury and stroke. Works on various aspects of research projects such as: a. Data collection and analysis of EEG and EMG data b. Data Collection and analysis of MRI data c. Literature Review d. Preparing Data reports Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience	Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant area, such as engineering, computer science, neurorehabilitation, biomedical sciences, or related field.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	Experience in human research Experience in programming, Matlab, Python, or R Knowledge of statistical data analysis Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications	Research studies in human subjects, and history of publication and presentation of original research Background and experience in EMG and EEG data collection and data analysis. Background and experience in TMS (data collection and data analysis) Image-processing analysis
