+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| TEMPERING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN || || Primary Responsibility:Assist in the overall maintenance of || tempering equipment to ensure optimal production and limited || interruption of the tempering process. || || Summary of Job Duties: || || - Inspect and report any equipment issues to manager and plant || leadership. || - Assist in the preventative maintenance on all equipment. || - Perform repairs in production-down equipment. || - Develop full understanding of equipment function and parts. || - Coordinate with Maintenance Manger to assure availability of || necessary maintenance parts, materials, tools, and supplies for || proper maintenance functions. || - Completes duties as directed by supervisor in a timely manner, || following standard operating procedures (SOPs) || - Obeys and enforces all safety procedures and rules and notify || supervisor of any safety concerns || - Wear assigned PPE in designated areas || || || || Education, Experience and Skills Required: || || - Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience. || - Proven experience with equipment repair and maintenance. || - Analytical skills with a mechanical aptitude. || - Attention to detail and organized approach to work with the || ability to re-prioritize quickly as production demands warrant. || - Ability to work flexible hours when needed due to maintenance || needs. || - Musthave the ability to perform physical work andmay be required || to lift up to 75 lbs. Perform activities such as bending, || kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and lifting for up to 3-4 || hours without sitting. || || || Working Conditions: || Works primarily indoors with e posure to seasonal weather extremes. || Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, and || materials. || || || || || This job description does not imply that the above are the only || responsibilities assigned to this position.
