Description
Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Litigation Attorney for our Northshore client. Great pay and benefits for the right candidate. Must be able to go into the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all stages of general litigation matters in Massachusetts, including the filing of lawsuits up to judgment, focusing mainly on breach of contract claims and other commercial matters.
Engage with internal restructuring and accounting teams to prepare matters for litigation.
Assist with prelitigation matters with NFS’ "workout" team to resolve defaults and other disputes.
Oversee external local counsel managing out of state matters such as recovery of collateral, domesticating and collecting upon Massachusetts judgments and any other relevant litigation.
Handle additional legal matters, including bankruptcy and insolvency cases as necessary.
Manage out-of-state dockets effectively.
Provide legal advice and analysis to business executives regarding the status and strategy of Massachusetts and out-of-state litigations.
Requirements
Requirements:
JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.
Must be a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Minimum of 6 years of commercial litigation experience.
