Our culture is one of quality and operational excellence fueled and supported by talented people, tools and processes, and expertise.We currently have a Telecommunications Installer role open in our Northeast region. This role will be 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in a regional area. Periodic travel may be required outside of the geographic region. This role will report to the Northeast Region Services Manager.The preferred location for this role is Upstate New York or Vermont.The Telecommunications Installer (Level IV) will work on circuit modifications, power transition operations, addition, and removal of circuits on working power distribution sources, power system equipment test and turn-up, overseeing volatile work activities and performing Site Supervisors responsibilities on a job site. Troubleshooting based on experience and judgment is required to plan and accomplish goals, complete tasks, and solve key customer issues in a timely manner.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in DC power equipment installation.Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / WordA valid driver's license.Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100% and willingness to work different shifts (swing shifts).Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.* Ability to operate motorized lift equipment to maneuver, install or remove 80-750 lb. batteries* Frequently pushing or pulling of cables up to 60 lbs.* Frequently climbing ladders up to 8 ft.* Frequently working/standing on ladders for long periods of time* Continuous standing* Frequently reaching above, below or at shoulder level* Frequently bending, twisting, or stooping* Frequently crouching or squatting* Be exposed to varying environments with moderate noise levels, nominal variations in heat and coldDesired Characteristics:Strong customer service mindsetPrior field engineering experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsElectrical degree, certificate, or apprenticeshipAC Electrical experienceUS Pay Ranges$25—$35 USDAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, creed, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, citizen status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, marital status, family medical leave status, or protected veterans status.ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS: We will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
