Title: Technology Architect

Job Description:
Capgemini is seeking a Technology Architect who will be a member of the Enterprise Architecture team that sits in the Enterprise Business Technology Solutions, EBTS organization - which is responsible for developing and maturing core capabilities. The Technology Architect is responsible for planning in strategic ways, and the design of technology services including Hybrid cloud infrastructure. Additionally, will work closely with the other Enterprise Architects Business AppDev teams, IT Engineers and Solution Architects to delivers technology services and solutions for the customer.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a domain expert and inspiring leader within the organization on cloud infrastructure and data technologies.Develop and maintain the overall technology strategy and roadmap for the organization.Collaborate with other groups and teams to ensure that technology initiatives align with organizational goals and objectives.Provide guidance and direction to technology teams on technology system architecture, design and development standard methodologies. Additionally, provide guidance to other Architects and development teams on architecture design integration patterns and standard methodologies.Conduct analysis of industry standards, and emerging technology as well as market offerings to proactively advance capabilities.Develop technology standards and lead technology lifecycle and obsolescence. Identify, communicate and mitigate potential technical risks for projects Participate in ArchitectureMange technical requirements to help develop secure strong, scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions.Facilitate vendor relationships and stay ahead of on vendor roadmaps.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent; preferred or relevant work experience required in lieu of degree 10 years of relevant experience as technology or enterprise architect Prior experience in developing technology strategy and roadmaps and communicating the same to senior leadership teams Aware of emerging technologies and trends in the industryUnderstanding of key emerging technologies including Cloud Containers, AI/ML, Big Data, Robotic Process, Automation, Data Lakes, etc. Deep experience and knowledge in technical infrastructure and cloud solutions: AWS, Azure, etc. Ability to understand IT business requirements and convert them into infrastructure solution designs.Strong consulting and communication skills Ability to work effectively with various organizations; providing solutions to business problems. Understanding and expertise in Technology architecture including infrastructure, applications, data and security. Understanding of Software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and DevOps, Data modeling and database design principles, IT governance and risk management frameworks and standards.Previous knowledge of networking and telecommunications principles and technologies. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman and FEAF.
