Disposes of them according to procedureDemonstrates by example, the application and rigid control of the principles and practices of aseptic techniquePrioritizes the workload and facilitates in maintaining stock supplies in a cost-effective mannerDemonstrates knowledge of procedure by anticipating throughout the case any additional supplies and/or equipment that may be neededPractices cost containment by opening only needed supplies for a procedureAssists with intubations, fiberoptic bronchoscopes, T.E.E., intra-aortic balloon pumps, stereotactic procedures, etcPrepares and operates the cell-saver equipment within the current A.A.B.B., F.D.A., and manufacturer regulationsPrepares monitor, oxygen, and ambu apparatus, and assists with transport of lined patientsTrouble-shoots anesthesia machines and supportive monitoring devicesAssesses the patient chart to insure written order for autotransfusion, lab work, etc.WORKING CONDITIONSHas variable shift rotation that includes but may not be limited to 7:00am - 3:30pm, 9:00am - 5:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm,11:00pm - 7:00am, or 11:00am - 7:30pm.Stands for long periods of time.Breaks and lunch are coordinated with other personnel and workload activity.Blood and body fluid exposure - 1Frequent changes in duties throughout working hours.Involved with personnel, patients, and physicians under all c
