Description Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This dynamic department will provide you with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Carson, California area.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Execute full-cycle A/P

　　Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

　　Carry out additional projects as required

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs Requirements

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

　　2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Command of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Proven knowledge of Check Runs

　　Practical knowledge of bank reconciliations

　　Quality experience with month end closings

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Concur experience preferred

　　NetSuite experience

　　Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

　　General familiarity with Invoice Processing

　　Well-founded grasp of Check Runs

　　Wide ranging experience with Vendor Management

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
