　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　To provide technical assistance to engineering and corporate staff.

　　JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Provides technical assistance, under the direct supervision of the engineering staff in compiling technical information, solving problems and assisting in preparing reports working from various procedures and standard practices.o Researches, computes, charts, plots, reads and measures engineering or test data.

　　o Assists engineering staff in compiling data and preparing engineering reports.

　　o Operates computer equipment to process engineering data.

　　o May be required to help prepare engineering data sketches.

　　Requires minimal contact with personnel in engineering to obtain and furnish information during training period.

　　Direct observation of a certified Level 2 in NDI is required for all Accept/Reject decisions.

　　Qualifications

　　EDUCATION:

　　Requires 80 hours of NDI formal training.

　　EXPERIENCE:

　　Up to one year experience in nondestructive testing preferred.
