Job Responsibilities:
Read, understand, and execute work instructions to build advanced andprecise electrical/mechanical assemblies.Verify built assemblies are meeting the engineering intent from anelectrical/mechanical perspective.Identify non-conforming issues during assembly and recommend solutions to theengineering team to overcome issues.Take ownership and maintain build documentation for assemblies being built.Including filling out work instructions, non-conformance reports and loggingtime against the applicable work order.Be willing to cross train in multiple areas of specialty.Other responsibilities as assigned.Perform tasks with a high level of integrityMaintain a regular and predictable work scheduleProvide input for continuous process improvement, develop more refined waysof assembling parts and productsOther responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education:
2+ years related experience, or a two-year technical degree and 1 yearsrelated experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentMUST have experience performing precision electrical/mechanical assemblyAbility to read and work to engineering documentationFamiliarity with tools and techniques used for precision manufacturing andassemblyExperience using metrology tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Multi-meters, etc.)Applied knowledge of GD&T (ANSI/ASME Y14.5)Excellent manual dexterity, ability to handle small partsPossess strong problem solving and communication abilitiesHigh standard of workmanship is a mustRelated technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
Working Conditions:This job operates in a professional office environment, but in amanufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such ascomputers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and faxmachines.
