　　Our Technical Writing team is responsible for creating content. This assists both users and developers working with Akamai products. Writers specialize in UI text, in-product user assistance, product documentation, and API/Developer materials.

　　Help us deliver best-in-class documentation

　　As a Senior Technical Writer, you'll join an already-established writing team focused on creating customer-facing content. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop high-quality content to enhance our customer experience. You'll create both reference and task-based content that enables and supports Akamai's customers.

　　As a Technical Writer Senior, you will be responsible for:

　　Working with product managers and engineers to create & maintain technical documentation and application content for Akamai customers

　　Driving documentation projects through the complete development cycle

　　Learning and mastering Akamai's documentation tools, methods, and delivery mechanisms as the work requires

　　Creating UI text and in-app guidance to help customers navigate through Akamai products

　　Developing comprehensive reference documentation for developer tools like APIs, CLIs, and SDKs

　　Understanding user goals and working with cross-functional teams to scope the user experience deliverables

　　To be successful in this role you will:

　　Have a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or another related field or its equivalent

　　Possess excellent communication and writing skills in English

　　Have writing samples demonstrating your excellence in writing UI text, product documentation, and API references

　　Have experience documenting TCP/UDP/IP network applications

　　Have a solid understanding of Markdown and GIT

　　Have solid understanding of IP protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, TLS

　　Have analytical skills to process complex technical information and the desire to learn new skills

　　Be able to proactively suggest not only edits but interaction design changes that would improve user experience
