  Are you the type of person who loves to weld and use your skills to develop the next generation of welders? In this role you will be train new and existing Vermeer welders through a variety of classroom and hands-on training. We're looking for someone who can maintatin a professional learning environment while teaching Vermeer production standards.Who We AreVermeer equips customers doing important work around the world.   What You'll Do

  Facilitate weld training curriculum of new welders in all welding processes. Classroom instructions include blueprint reading, job safety analysis, and weld quality per Vermeer standards. Maintain a professional learning environment in both classroom and hands-on training.

  Monitor and assess team members against established standards for Vermeer welders using direct welding tests, blueprint tests, measuring tests, and utilizing the weld simulator. Provide coaching and feedback to team members based on assessment.

  Deliver established curriculum for Vermeer weld training.

  Perform follow up evaluations on new Vermeer welders post training and provide continuing education of welders in production.

  What We're Looking For

  High School Diploma.

  Minimum of 2 years of welding experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  Ability to respond to continually changing priorities to meet customer demands.

  Ability to work in a team and demonstrate patience, good communication skills, ability to reason, persuade with self-confidence and ability to handle confrontation.

  Ability to creatively present information in a manner which engages learned participation and thought.

  Ability to take complex topics or tasks and break them down for the learners and effectively communicate.

  Ability to engage classroom participants in training, evaluate if learners are comprehending the material, and adjust the material as needed.

  Ability to hold team members accountable to Vermeer safety and quality standards.

  Certificates, Licenses, Registration(as qualified through Vermeer Weld Training Program)

  Certified Welding Educator with the American Welding Society and Certified Welding Inspector with the American Welding Society, preferred.

  Successful completion of Vermeer weld training.

  Travel

  - No travel is expected of this position.

  Work Location

  ONSITE: A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
