Mechanical plumbing quality standards. As a Plumbing Technical Services Lead you will review work completed by plumbers, provide technical guidance, and confirm ticket completeness. This position fills the gap between completed field work and final customer invoicing to ensure quality and accuracy.RESPONSIBILITIES:Review all plumbing service tickets including time, materials, pictures, and equipment to ensure the work performed matches the written description and meets industry/company standardsCorrespond with technicians to clarify any technical informationReport quality issues or concerns to management, work through resolutions when applicable/directedComplete plumbing quotes based on technician recommendations, unit age/condition, industry standards, and customers' long-term goalsExtract pull-through work from service calls and preventative maintenance visitsPerform quality and cost control of all quoted plumbing projects throughout scope of work to maintain expected standardsDevelop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyaltyCommunicate with customers regarding quoted work and provide knowledgeable and insightful information to enable customer to make an informed decisionFollow up with customers on quoted plumbing work and coordinate with service team if approvedStay current with changing industry standardsWork with team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and provide a positive customer journeyMaintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for referenceWork with management to meet company goals and deliverablesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High School diploma or GED and five (5) years' experience in mechanical service, mechanical field estimating, or related field OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields and two (2) years' experience in Project Management and/or estimating, at least two (2) years of experience in a leadership role in mechanical service operationsPreferred Qualifications - Plumbing or Mechanical Technical Expertise, Field estimating experience, Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, Verbal & written communication skills, Attention to detail and organization, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook* REWARDING YOUR PERFORMANCE * Competitive Salary, commensurate with experience, Company paid vacation and holidays, Company health care, vision, & dental benefits, 401k plan with Company match, Company paid life insurance, Education and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completed, Eligible for performance and company-based bonusesWebsite link: https://www.gemechanical.com/applynowG.E.
