Peraton is seeking a NOC Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Kearneysville, WV. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's United States Coast Guard Integrated Managed Services (IMS) program.Day to Day Work Responsibilities:Monitors critical network elements and applications using various network monitoring systems in a 7x24x365 Network Operations Center (NOC).Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains telecommunications networks in the NOC environment.Tests new and already installed hardware and software programs.Uses computerized network management systems to check for system alarms when parts of the network are not working properly and may jeopardize the level of communication services available to customers.Follows procedures to validate, troubleshoot, and escalate issues.May be required to work second and third shift, or work overtime in the event of network outages.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma and 2-4 years experience or relevant experience1+ years of professional experience in a large Data Center environmentExperience using Remedy software (or similar tool) to track incidents and service requests through the full lifecycle.Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadershipFamiliarity with DOD IT security requirementsMust be ability to obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.Security+ Certification (not required to start but expected to attain in first six months)ITIL4 Foundation certification (not required to start but expected to attain in first six months)Must have the ability to work shift workPreferred Qualifications:Active Secret clearance; preferred.Degree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering, or equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Target Salary Range
$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
