  What you'll do:

  We are growing, we are scaling, and we need your help to hire the best technical talent in North America. The Technical Recruiter is part of a nationwide technical talent acquisition team responsible for all stages of the recruiting life-cycle. The Technical Recruiter works closely with our leadership team and their sourcing partners to determine and execute on the recruitment strategy. Your focus will be on building market research/insights, outbound recruiting, Industry/function outreach, and you will have the opportunity to define the talent acquisition roadmap, tools and recommend improvements. With drive, focus and an enterprising approach you will shape the talent pipeline, the team's efficiency, represent our employer brand on outreach, and influence the growth of our company culture, all while providing excellent candidate experience. You will partner with broader team members throughout the execution of these critical talent acquisition components.

  Creatively engage and connect with top engineering talent to build a vibrant talent pipeline in support of technical hiring needsOwn recruitment strategy for respective talent segment. Consult with hiring managers on approach and leverage data to influence and track progressProvide excellent candidate experience through recruiting life cycle. Close candidates and prepare them for onboardingBecome an expert in selling the company story, the exciting challenges our engineers get to tackle every day, and an unbeatable cultureWork closely with sourcers, coordinators, and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements for our roles and their impact on the company and product as a wholeTrack pipeline activity and metrics, using this data to constantly calibrate with broader team and hiring management to make improvementsCreate unrivaled candidate engagement plans (by role, level and location) to identify top talent, including but not limited to databases (through key partnerships), Boolean searches, networking events, market research/insights, Industry/function outreach, and other creative tools/platformsAct as the industry go-to for top-talent (via networking, keeping up with tech news, industry mapping, etc.)Execute on plan, delivering timely updates and flexing strategy as hiring plan changesEffectively deliver in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environmentActively build and utilize numerous channels to increase the diversity of applicant poolsEnsure hiring manager and candidate experience are positiveConduct pre-screening phone interviews to assess candidates for needed skill set, competencies, potential fit for position and cultureAssist with other recruiting team responsibilities as neededDevelop and demonstrate a deep understanding of our culture

  Who you are:

  Technical Recruiting experience for software, product-driven companies focused on hiring full time full stack developers3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environmentBA/BS field highly preferredEquipped with creative recruitment techniques for all stages, and a proven track record of engaging talent/ hiring for hard to fill roles at super speedAbility to understand technical concepts and passion for having technical discussionsStrong work ethic, sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to prioritizeA positive attitude with a dedication to problem solving and deliverySolid knowledge of current trends, innovations and standard methodologies within recruitingHigh level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential informationPassionate about people and an impulsive instinct to help others, go above and beyond, and think aheadExceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedbackMaintains high level of confidentiality and professionalism

  NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

  At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is$68,600-$125,700 USD
