Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Purchasing Agent in Doral, FL. This is a remote or hybrid position working from the Headquarters. This position is responsible for executing procurement of technical materials and services needed for vessels operations and maintenance to support guest experience.Essential Functions:

　　Technical Purchasing Agent will follow the prescribed guidelines and procedures on Technical Purchasing defined in the Purchasing Manual

　　Source items from qualified suppliers by researching and identifying supply options

　　Issue and revise purchase orders for approved service, repair, and material requisitions created in Infoship by the Ships' management

　　Coordinate communication for logistics of material or parts for repair/return

　　Provide orders follow up and expediting as needed to ensure arrival of supplies at destination

　　Maintain proper back up documentation

　　Develop and maintain regular progress reports on all initiatives

　　As a Technical Purchasing Agent, you will liaise between vendors, the technical operations team, and the shipboard teams from purchase request to purchase fulfillment

　　Perform other job-related functions as assigned

　　Associates degree; Technical education or background in technical trading field preferred

　　3 years of technical purchasing experience; Or marine technical purchasing experience

　　Communication skills and customer's-oriented attitude

　　Ability to work as a team member

　　Good knowledge of English language

　　Experience on the following is required:

　　Environmental - USPH requirements

　　IMO and DNV standards

　　MSDS regulations and requirements

　　Safety - Quality/ISO standards

　　General Marine experience

　　Excellent technical communication skills to be able to properly communicate with ships Chief Engineers, Hotel Directors, Tech Ops

　　Knowledge of worldwide vendors for technical marine spares

　　Sourcing of obsolete spares parts

　　Ability to read technical data sheets

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
