About Technical Program Manager

  Eaton’s Residential division is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager. This role is located out of Moon Township, PA and offers a hybrid work option. (3 days in office/2 days remote).

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $88,499 - $129,799 a year.

  This position is responsible for management of innovation & technology projects for Eaton ARS. The Technical Program Manager manages the project planning, execution, requirements changes, risk mitigation, and issue tracking.

  What you’ll do:

  Accountable for project scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.

  Establish objectives, goals, and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer needs, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.

  Ensure the project team creates and maintains the deliverables and leads the Program team during Gate Review events.

  Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.

  Work in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments.

  Coordinate all risks and requirements of the program by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.

  Financial acumen to complete required capital appropriation request(s).

  Communicate timely project status.

  Understand project impact to the business and identifies impact of project changes on the portfolio.

  Drive the implementation of company standard tools to improve Program Management performance.

  Qualifications:

  Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  Five (5) years’ experience in program management and leadership of project teams.

  Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

  No relocation assistance will be provided. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Moon Township to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

  Experience in Risk Management

  Experience in the electric vehicle or electric charging market

  Five (5) years of program leadership skills with the ability to manage both horizontally and vertically within a complex matrix organization

  Five (5) years of experience and proved proficiency in Microsoft Project

  Skills:

  Well-developed communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations.

  Strong analytical skills and business acumen

  Must be able to achieve goals by working collaboratively and cross-functionally

  Must be capable of working effectively in diverse cultural situations with our global team members.

  Must be capable of initiating and providing recommendations for Business Unit and Division senior leadership review and approval that will achieve desired outcomes.

  Must be able to travel on business up to 5% of the time.

  Broad knowledge of the product design

  Fully demonstrating and proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.
