Grow your career as a Technical Program Manager with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Will be responsible for overall Book of Work (BoW) management for a Technology Risk & Controls team. Will define, design, implement Program/Project tracking and reporting capabilities to support the Technology Risk & Controls team in their adherence to corporate program and project governance. Will be responsible for interpretation and dissemination of program/project information, process ownership, process improvement, and establishing best practices and processes within the team. Will oversee the development of a suite of proactive reporting, visualization and communication, leveraging the data within multiple complex enterprise project management tools, to advise other Risk & Controls leads and senior technology managers of the overall health of their initiatives and identify areas that require remediation. KPIs will also be defined and agreed upon with KPI monitoring implemented to monitor adherence to governance milestones.
Will work closely with the Technology Risk & Controls management team, technology teams and various levels of stakeholders across the organization. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree is required.
7+ years of Program or Project management experience with proven experience in program management tools and techniques.
Must have Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) OR Project Management Professional (PMP) Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Experience working within a PMO, Risk & Controls or Technology functions with experience in organizing, analyzing and visualizing enterprise data to enable data-driven decision making and actions.
Experience working in a technology division of a large banking institution.
Strong skills in program management/planning, presentations, and communication.
Advanced presentation skills in PowerPoint.
Strong proficiency in Excel (including Pivot tables), and MS project.
Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced, environment, take initiative/ownership and take on various assignments/roles.
Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management
What You Will Be Doing
Manage portfolio of program/projects and help design end-state strategy to ongoing improvement initiatives and create efficient global business standards and operational efficiencies.
Interface and build strong rapport with designated Technology and Risk & Controls functions and other Program/Project Managers
Execute status meetings with Risk & Controls and Tech leads, partner with other Program/Project Managers, Project stakeholders and drive initiatives to completion
Prepare and produce project status, Issue/Risk and RAG reports for senior management
Preparation of weekly and monthly operational metrics reports
Participate in project governance and provide detailed metrics on project quality control measures
Coordinate project meetings and working sessions with project stakeholders
Conduct project related status/performance analysis
Track project progress against time and quality expectations
Deploy appropriate methods and tools to drive implementation
