　　The Microsoft Azure Storage Engineering team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to work on a unique and highly visible role with major scope to identify and operationalize new storage technologies and Microsoft Azure storage hardware platforms. You will be part of a group responsible for identifying new storage technologies, steering the industry to meet Microsoft’s needs, analyzing business opportunities and recommending business investments. You will have the opportunity to work in a broad range of technical areas and integrate with multiple component teams inside Microsoft Azure as well as across the company.

　　Responsibilities

　　You will help others as they design technical solutions. You will also identify risks, escalating them to senior levels when needed.

　　Based on success criteria, you’ll help others develop and implement features for cross-functional projects. You’ll begin to understand how to collaborate and ensure alignment across teams.

　　Under supervision, you will help others adhere to roadmap for single features, track project schedules, manage staging and implementation, and comply with governance programs.

　　You will help others drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics.

　　Qualifications

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines

　　OR equivalent experience.

　　Demonstrated strong ability to work with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

　　Analytical skills, able to make informed tradeoffs, and able to break down and solve complex and often ambiguous problems.

　　Other Qualifications:

　　Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ year(s) experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,

　　OR product development

　　OR equivalent experience.

　　1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

　　2+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

　　Prior Storage expertise.
