JOB REQUIREMENTS: Greet guests and checking them into the resort andchecking them out. -Check-in and checkout guests. -Approve and processall forms of payment. -Assist guests with directions, reservations,general information and any special requests. -Enter and retrieveinformation re: room rates, billing, etc. on computer system. -Possessesknowledge of all resort services. -Assign rooms -Maintain supplies offorms, brochures, etc. -Convey rates and packages information to guests.-Follow all emergency/fire procedures. -Do all necessary filling whichwill include charge receipts, keys, registration cards, etc. -Answerphone and provide requested information or service and follow through toensure guest satisfaction. -Be sensitive to potential guest problems andtake preventative action. -Prepare, run and distribute reports. -Greetand relate to guest in a courteous and professional manner. -Maintaininventory as needed. -Respond to guest request, needs and/or changes andrelay guest comments to supervisor. -Possesses knowledge of reservationand billing systems. -Maintains and controls room inventory andavailability. -Possesses knowledge of resort products, rates and specialprograms. -Maintains security of guest keys and cash drawer; counts andverifies the cash at the end of each shift. -Performs other relatedduties as assigned by the Front Office Manager and/or Front OfficeSupervisor. The noise level in the workenvironment is usually moderate.
