Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for a Technical Program Manager for a fast-growing automotive safety systems company in Southfield, MI. They are looking for a product engineer to jump in and be a key player within the organization. Responsibilities will include:

　　- Business hunting activities: interact with customer to learn about new business opportunities and to share technology to generate customer interest.

　　- Customer requirement analysis: working together with multifunctional team, coordinating efforts to complete requirement analysis and respond to customer, complying with the requirements that can be met and negotiating exceptions for the ones that cannot be met.

　　- Technical reviews: collaborate with manufacturing to prepare manufacturing plan, timing and cost. Also prepare test plan, timing and cost with input from Product Engineering.

　　- Program open issues meetings: create, track and maintain open issues list and collaborate with the team on efforts to close open issues.

　　- Prototype builds

　　Skills and Requirements

　　6+ years of experience within technical program management, specifically within product development

　　Experience in the automotive industry -- working with OEM customer interactions, knowledge of Chassis/Breaking components

　　Tier 1 & 2 supplier experience preferred over OEM

　　Technical knowledge of hardware or software systems

　　Ability to run customer meetings, manage timelines and oversee the whole program

　　Strong communication and ability to talk through open issues and come to solutions null
