  The Technical Planner is primarily responsible for providing operations with the appropriate work instructions, maintaining master data for the IT systems and troubleshooting systems issues related to data maintenance. The person in this role must be willing to provide off shift coverage when needed

  Key Requirements:

  Accurately incorporate master data into software applications used by the engine overhaul center

  Troubleshoot issues with the master data for any of the applications

  Maintain, revise and control engine overhaul center work instructions, Assembly Sheets, Disassembly Sheets, Customer Work Specifications, Fits and Clearances, Service Bulletins and A.D. Notes Summary sheet, Clean/NDT requirements, Repair instructions

  Provide support for operational issues as they arise

  Read and interpret Overhaul Manual, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Standard Practice Manuals and Component Maintenance Manuals. Input data into CEC systems as applicable.

  Responsible for mapping technical data requirements to where they are executed in the overhaul process

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience to include supporting work instructions within a manufacturing or aerospace environment or other technically related data management OR Advanced Degree and 3 years of experience to include supporting work instructions within a manufacturing or aerospace environment or other technically related data management

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  5+ years of Engine Overhaul or related experience

  Experience using SAP

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

  Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

  Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

  The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
