Responsibilities

　　Responsible for proper decontamination, inspection, sterilization, and processing of all instrumentation/equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions for use.

　　Job Title: Central Sterile Processing Department (CSPD) Technician - ASC Operating Rooms

　　Clinic Location: Memorial Villages

　　Department: ASC Operating Rooms

　　Job Type: Full Time

　　Salary Range: $38,422- $47,460 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

　　Qualifications

　　Education

　　Required: High School Diploma

　　Preferred: Graduate of an accredited central sterile processing tech program

　　Experience

　　Required: Five years experience as a sterile processing technician is strongly desired.

　　Preferred: Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience preferred. Experience as a surgical technologist.

　　License(s)

　　Required: CPR - Must be certified CSPD or willing to obtain certification within one year of hire.

　　Preferred: Certified CSPD technician

　　Special Skills

　　Required: Basic computer skills

　　Preferred: N/A

　　Other

　　Required: Knowledge of AAMI & AORN standards and recommendations. Clear understanding of sterilization process.
