Teacher\'s Assistant provides academic support and behavior modificationapproaches in a highly structured alternative school. In a small classsetting, the teacher assistant will support the teacher in addressingthe academic and emotional/behavioral needs of the students as set forthin their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Prepare lesson plans, tutoringstudents one-on-one or in groups, taking attendance and monitoringstudent progress. Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to themission of the organization and its goals and adhere to the policies andregulations of the agency.
