　　We are looking for a lead server to help run our English-style tea room,which has been a family business for over 30 years and is set in themiddle of a popular flower nursery and gift shop. Teas are served in aflower garden or greenhouse. The tea room menu is small and simple, andmost things are freshly prepared. It is most important to maintainhigh-quality service and food. Training will be provided.

　　(We will consider splitting the position between two part-time workers.Couples welcome to apply)

　　Basic food preparation, setting of tables, greeting of customers, takingorders, making and serving hot drinks, simple sandwiches and desserts.Clearing of tables, dishwashing and preparing for the following day.Sweeping and mopping kitchen floor, with weekly deep cleaning. On slowdays you will be responsible for all work in the kitchen, from prep toclean-up, but on busier days there will be another staff person to helpin both the kitchen and tea room.

　　Other shop staff will take reservations, set the schedule, seatcustomers and accept customer payment. The majority of customers willhave made reservations beforehand, so the number of guests is known inadvance.

　　Responsible for maintaining a hygienic kitchen, adhering to healthdepartment regulations, and maintaining tidiness in public areas.Responsible for communication with manager about inventories of food andkitchen supplies, and helping with ordering and shopping. Occasionallywatering plants. Light cleaning of the public spaces.
