Description Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will work with financial and income tax statements, making sure that they comply with tax laws by filing their federal and state tax returns. This is the role for a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and organization.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Recognize ways to improve profits and tax savings

　　Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work

　　Put together accurate quarterly and annual tax reports

　　Maintain good industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications

　　Assemble tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database

　　Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws

　　Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings

　　Monitor client compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations Requirements - Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

　　Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

　　Must be a creative thinker and have strong problem-solving skills

　　CPA highly preferred

　　Skilled at time management

　　Excellent organizational skills

　　2+ years of public or corporate tax
