Description

　　Our reputable client is seeking a Tax Accountant to join the company. The Tax Accountant will file federal and state tax returns and work with financial and income tax statements, ensuring they comply with tax laws. 　　Your responsibilities

　　-Progress professionally by obtaining and maintaining CPA designation. Develop a command of GAAP. Interact with clients via phone, email and in person with the goal of providing excellent quality and service.

　　Become highly proficient in various software including Axcess Tax, Document, Workstream, and Practice.

　　Provide monthly and quarterly accounting and bookkeeping services to clients.

　　Review and respond to various government correspondence received by clients. Provide tax return preparation services: • Individual • Corporate • Trust • Partnership • Exempt organization Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and payments, as needed. Prepare 1099 forms.

　　Prepare quarterly sales tax returns and payments, as needed. Prepare City of L.A. business tax annual renewals. Prepare annual property tax statements-form 571L.

　　Provide tax research as requested by clients, supervisor, and/or Partners. Prepare annual audits, reviews, and compilations. Prepare client internal use financial statements. Prepare individual and corporate estimated tax vouchers and payments, as needed. Prepare year-end corporate and individual tax projections

　　Requirements

　　Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

　　Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

　　Exceptional time management skills preferred

　　Must have strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking

　　CPA highly preferred

　　Exceptional organizational skills

　　Be detailed, flexible, and organized

　　2+ years of public tax experience
