  Tax Senior Manager – Tax Technology

  POSITION SUMMARY

  The Tax Senior Manager will drive tax technology initiatives for the Tax Reporting and Compliance Team. This role is responsible for exploring new and leveraging existing technology solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of Aon’s corporate tax processes.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  Lead tax technology initiatives for the Tax Reporting and Compliance Team under the direction of the team leaders

  Drive the implementation of software for Pillar Two

  Administrator of Corptax

  Execute on process improvements, such as leveraging Power BI, Alteryx, Python, and/or Excel Macros

  Assist with administration and enhancements of SharePoint as an effective tool for sharing documents and managing workflow

  Interface with all teams in the tax department, Information Technology, and other key stakeholders within the company

  Identify opportunities to streamline and automate various workstreams within the Tax Reporting and Compliance Team

  REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and PowerPoint

  Working knowledge of Alteryx and Python

  Working knowledge of Corptax compliance software

  Effective project management skills to facilitate excellent execution of tax projects

  Strong organizational and communication skills, written and verbal

  Working knowledge of ASC 740 standards and broad-based experience in federal, state and US-International income taxes

  7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of tax technology experience

  Bachelor’s degree in a business or IT related field, with emphasis in accounting preferred

  Experience with Workday a plus

  Location

  Hybrid (Chicago) or Remote

  The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $140,000 - 180,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

  The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

  This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
