　　Position Summary

　　The successful candidate needs to be energetic, dependable andself-motivated who can work in a busy quarry atmosphere. Performpreventative maintenance, repair and fabrication on heavy equipment.Including trouble shooting and repairs, rebuilds, removal andinstallation of mechanical parts on all types of diesel-poweredequipment. Lubricate and change oil and filters as needed.

　　Responsibilities

　　Accurately and promptly diagnose specific problems on equipment.Utilize diagnostic trouble shooting computers for repair.Perform brake repairs and adjustments on mobile equipment.Trouble shoot electrical and hydraulic problems and make thenecessary repairs or replacements and interpret schematics onelectrical and hydraulic systems.Cut, weld and fabricate when necessary.Perform, schedule and retain records on preventative maintenance ofequipment.Perform responsibilities safely and maintain a clean workplace.Utilize parts manual and online resources for ordering parts.Other duties as assignedRequirements

　　HS Diploma or GED required3 to 5 years\' heavy equipment experienceStrong mechanical backgroundAbility to analyze, troubleshoot, and repairAdvance knowledge of engine, drive train, brake, electrical andhydraulics a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and in afast-paced environmentWilling to work days, nights, weekends as neededGood oral and written communication skillsPro-active in SAFETY and works well in a team environmentPhysical requirements

　　Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, and rain).Must be able to work in conditions including dust, vibration, heights,mechanical hazards, confined spaces and electrical hazards. Ability tosit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time. Ability tolift 75 pounds and work at heights up to 100ft.
