Description There is a need for a Tax Preparer with a firm in the Paterson, New Jersey area. In this Tax Preparer role you will perform simple and complex State and Federal tax returns for individual and small businesses. This Tax Preparer is a great opportunity to make an impact in a deadline-driven environment and utilize your meticulous attention to detail. 　　How you will make an impact

　　Manually prepare transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

　　Connect with clients to gather paramount information/documents

　　Count services and invoice for form preparation fees

　　Answer incoming client calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments

　　Provide factual data into Tax software application

　　Conduct other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned Requirements - Strong communication and social skills

　　Comprehensive knowledge of data entry

　　Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Can work independently with minimal supervision

　　Outstanding data entry skills

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities
