　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　Administers daily hydrotherapy and dressing changes of all adult and pediatric burn patients. Performs wound care on designated consults and wound management cases throughout the medical center. Assists Registered Nurses with patient care as assigned by Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator. Reinforces patient teaching initiated by Registered Nurses during wound care. Uses and understanding of the principals of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific assistance in treatment and care.

　　EDUCATION:

　　High School graduate.REQUIREMENTS:

　　Prior health care experience preferred (i.e. Nurse s Aide, Monitor Tech, EKG Tech, Phlebotomy, EMT).

　　American Heart Association (AHA) designation for BLS

　　Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, critical thinking and organizational skills required

　　Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

　　4 days/week every other weekend 7a-5p
