Description Near the Augusta, Georgia area, a firm is looking to fill a multi-faceted Tax Preparer role. Apply now through Robert Half. The preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns, will be the responsibilities of Tax Preparer. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Balance other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

　　Connect with clients to gather paramount information/documents

　　Organize transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

　　Aid clients with incoming calls to direct tax questions and set appointments

　　Plug in applicable data into Tax software application

　　Figure and invoice for form preparation fees Requirements - Outstanding data entry skills

　　Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

　　Sound written and verbal communication skills

　　Knowledge of Individual Tax Return

　　Tax Preparer experience desired

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
