The Tax Preparer is in charge of the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Organize transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

　　Check in with clients to gather imperative information/documents

　　Plug in applicable data into Tax software application

　　Provide assistance to clients with incoming calls, tax questions, and set appointments

　　Be responsible for other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

　　Calculate rates and invoice for form preparation fees Requirements - Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

　　Can work independently with minimal supervision

　　E1041 experience desired

　　Knowledge of QuickBooks

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
