Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Senior Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and initiatives coordination for the Head of the Portfolio Advisory Group US and the Portfolio Advisory Group Team. This role must interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including leaders and support staff of RBC businesses. To perform this job successfully, the individual is expected to have outstanding attention to detail and project management skills and the keen ability to anticipate the support needs of the Head, Portfolio Advisory and handle confidential matters with discretion. What will you do? Maintain vacation schedule and master schedule of whereabouts for staff. Maintain master copies of organizational policy and procedure manuals and keeping them up-to-date. Typing and distributing memos, meeting minutes and presentations for staff. Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements, process expense claims Answer telephone, take messages and answer routine questions. Maintain confidential and non-routine information and act as project manager for special projects and initiatives Create and develop written communications and visual presentations Assist with department and technological initiatives Compose, critique, and edit correspondence Interface effectively with all levels of personnel What do you need to succeed? Must-have Three to five years' prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team A detail-oriented self-starter with prior experience in the financial services/wealth management industry or with a technology team Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills Excellent project coordination, organization and time-management skills Someone who exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and make decisions Nice-to-have Bachelor's degree preferred; work experience considered Concur experience Workday experience What's in it for you?
