We are in the process of recruiting a Senior Tax Professional/Director for our CPA firm located in the Twin Cities. This role involves a combination of strategic planning, client management, and continuous improvement within the tax law sector. The successful candidate will be a problem-solver who is committed to providing excellent service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic tax plans for businesses and real estate investors.

• Review income tax returns and provide training to staff on tax strategies.

• Develop new ideas and improve existing strategies to enhance the firm's operations.

• Onboard new clients and assist them in navigating our technology systems.

• Identify opportunities for upselling and process improvement to increase the firm's profitability.

• Ensure client satisfaction and deliver value by resolving their inquiries and concerns.

• Utilize skills in CCH ProSystem Fx, Compliance, Financial Statement, High-net-worth individual, Commercial Real Estate, and Complex Tax Return to carry out job functions effectively.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tax Accountant role within a CPA firm

• Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx software

• In-depth knowledge of compliance procedures and financial statement preparation

• Experience in handling accounts of high-net-worth individuals

• Expertise in commercial real estate accounting

• Ability to manage and prepare complex tax returns

• Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion in handling sensitive financial information

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Accountant (CTA) designation would be an advantage.
