7:30 am and 6:30 pm

Saturday and Sunday plus 3 weekdays

Job Summary

The Retail Sales Associate should be friendly and confident, with excellent customer service skills.  This position requires basic automotive parts knowledge and the ability to lift 50 lbs. when needed.    The Retail Sales Associate will be interacting with customers to help complete a sale.  Knowledge and experience working as a cashier is required.  This position is full-time and includes weekend work. A bilingual candidate (Spanish) is desired.

Job Duties

Greet customers upon entering the store

Provide excellent customer support for customer auto part inquiries

Assist with ringing and completing the sale

Complete housekeeping, janitorial, and other duties as assigned by the task list (This may include cleaning tires, carrying batteries, mopping floors, etc.)

Identify when customer interaction requires assistance from management

Follow loss prevention, risk control, quality assurance, and proper cash handling procedures

Qualifications

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Proven Cashier experience

Knowledge of automotive parts

Ability to lift tires and batteries weighing up to 50 lbs.

Maintain a consistent work schedule

Ability to work retail hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Bilingual Spanish -desired

Must be willing to get a little dirty sometimes

Previous work experience in a retail environment -desired

Must be able to pass a drug and background test

Job Conditions

Exposure to outdoors/weather conditions for times when you must go outside into the yard.

Regular sitting, standing, bending, and walking as needed to provide proper customer service and to complete vehicle receiving duties.
