The Team

　　The Tax team is responsible for all areas of tax compliance, including but not limited to REIT compliance monitoring, acquisition due diligence, and forecasting/projections. The Tax Intern will provide assistance with respect to all monthly and quarterly deliverables. The Intern will have frequent interactions with other members of the Tax department and with the Accounting, Legal, and Human Resources departments, and therefore must be effective with communication and able to solve problems and following through on resolving issues and completing deliverables.

　　This is a full-time, 6 month, co-op position scheduled for July 2024 through December 2024.

　　What You Need to Succeed

　　Currently enrolled in an undergraduate 4 or 5 year degree program.

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

　　Ability to work with numerous functional groups and different level of employees.

　　Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment.

　　Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

　　High energy, a consistent positive attitude.

　　Strong problem-solving skills.

　　Experience with online tax research tools such as BNA Tax Management Portfolio Library and CCH Tax Research Network.

　　Excellent references.
