  Our widely published company is headquartered in a fast-paced design office and manufacturing facility in LA. We design, develop, and manufacture a variety of façade systems, interior wall and ceiling systems, custom art installations on a full range of state-of-the-art equipment, in our 100,000 sf facilities.

  Our growing team is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and outgoing candidate to fill the role of Syteline Training Specialist to join our team.  You will be joining a fun, energetic and motivated team.

  Under direct supervision (Syteline Training Specialist I), general supervision (Syteline Training Specialist II), or direction (Syteline Training Specialist III), this team member would be part of the technology group at Arktura. This group provides a wide array of development, support, and training across a wide variety of applications. That said, the entire focus for this specific job role is Syteline training.

  The person selected for this role will have prior experience as a Syteline Application Consultant, or similar responsibilities of working with different facets and implementations of the highly complex Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) software – but whom is now interested in settling in and focusing on a single manufacturing facility with a cutting edge, industry leading company.

  Job Responsibilities:

  This position would work directly with our end users to reinforce the previous training which was given during our implementation 5 years ago. This includes developing ongoing training curriculum within business process management, change management, procedure development and documentation across these general areas:

  Financial management, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, manufacturing costing and financial reporting.

  Production / Manufacturing Control, including shop floor scheduling, BOM structures, routings, capacity analysis and quality control.

  Supply Chain Management, including forecasting, advanced planning, purchasing, warehouse / inventory management, vendor management, and logistics.

  Customer Demand Management, including quoting, customer relationship management, sales forecasting, order management, and invoicing.

  Quality Control, including incoming inspection, in-process inspection, quality management, and corrective actions.

  After-Market Service, including incident tracking, RMAs, depot repair, field repair, remote access, and billings.

  Project Control and Costing, including revenue recognition, milestone billings, tasks, and resources.

  Job Requirements:

  MINIMUM five years of professional experience using SyteLine in at least three of the subject areas listed above.

  Strong customer service acumen with impeccable verbal and written communication skills.

  Highly detail oriented with a commitment to following processes and procedures.

  Demonstrated ability to solve problems with minimal guidance.

  Self-motivated with orientation towards continuous education, both through formal and informal methods.

They will also be a self-starter with a proven history of taking initiative in professional situations and working independently of others.

  Hierarchy Distinguishing Characteristics:

  Syteline Training Specialist I

  The entry-level class of the series. Initially, incumbents will participate in Syteline support, business/workflow analysis, and some project management responsibility tailored to training multiple department staff in areas of critical concern. The initial level of this series is learning the business and developing the technical skills required to expand their knowledge of Arktura usage of Syteline and Syteline itself. It is critical at this stage to understand the holistic process from quote to ship and the Syteline modules involved at each stage.

  Syteline Training Specialist II

  This is the fully qualified, journey level class of this series. Competent to perform a variety of analytical and development duties, this position is characterized by the presence of general guidelines from which to make decisions and the availability of supervision in non-routine circumstances. Positions at this level require experience in coordination with Syteline application developer efforts and provide project management support at the departmental/enterprise level, have knowledge specifically of Arktura company standard structured life cycle development methodologies, and with focus on the improvement of existing Syteline processes which may have been successful at previous manufacturing environments.

  Syteline Training Specialist III

  This is the highly qualified, senior level of this series. Competent to perform a wide range of analytical, process evaluation, and training duties; this position requires in-depth knowledge of all Arktura business software and how it is used in conjunction with Syteline. Additionally, the relationships of each department's usage of that software with their processes and the places in need for improvement with tailored training curriculum for the improvement of that process. Positions in this class require an elevated level of discernment, initiative, and experience in relaying application development requirements that have a focus on business process re-engineering at the departmental / enterprise level, based on a long history of tried and true Syteline implementation strategies and practices with real world measurable positive outcomes.

  Individuals with the minimum prior ERP implementation experience may start a $68,000/ annually at the Syteline Training Specialist I level. Fully qualified trainers would earn up to $140,000/annually at the Syteline Training Specialist III level.

  Job Type: Full-time, on-site at Gardena, CA location

  The estimated base salary range for this role is $68,000-$130,000 a year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
