　　Position summary: Responsible for assisting the Tunnel Manager with the administrative operations of the tunnel mechanical systems, electrical systems and maintenance operations to include supervision of office and maintenance staff. Good supervisory and communications skills both oral and written. Ability to read and explain electrical and mechanical plans.

　　Essential functions and responsibilities:

　　* Maintains computerized maintenance systems records and monitors cost and labor data

　　* Coordinates maintenance activities with on-site staff and outside vendors

　　* Reviews and approves purchase orders for parts, equipment and materials

　　* Provides cost estimates for proposed new work and repairs

　　* Responsible for fleet maintenance and supervises maintenance staff

　　* Assist in tunnel operations during emergency operations or incidents

　　* Produce quarterly and annual budgets and assists with weekly and annual reports

　　* Provides input for maintenance related policies and procedures

　　* Works with other departments to maintain electrical, electronic and HVAC systems

　　* Manages daily operations in the absence of the tunnel manager

　　* Monitors and makes improvements to predictive and preventative maintenance program

　　Nonessential functions and responsibilities:

　　* Perform other related duties as assigned

　　Required Experience * 10+ years of industry experience

　　* BS in mechanical or electrical engineering with PE preferred but not required
